Re-create Shapes!

This experiment is about your ability to copy the exact shape of an object you see.

The shape you should copy will appear on the screen at the same time as the shape you are adjusting. You should simply adjust your shape to be the same as the other one!

Below is an example. Feel free to try and see how to adjust a shape.

When you're ready to begin, click "Start Experiment". By completing this experiment, you are consenting to be in this research study. Your participation is voluntary and you can stop at any time.

Remember to keep adjusting until you are satisfied with the match!

(NOTE: This is a 'demo' version of the study for the benefit of readers, and does not collect any data; feel free to explore it!)

Next, you need to remember the exact shape and reproduce it. A shape will appear in the middle of the page, and then an altered version of the shape will appear. Your job is simply to adjust the shape until it matches the first version you saw. To do this, you will have control over a slider that you can adjust by clicking and dragging the disc. Once you're satisfied with your judgment, click "Next Trial".

Keep adjusting until you are satisfied with the match! When you're ready, click "Continue".
