Which size looks best?

Unfortunately, this study does not work in your current browser. Please use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Sorry!

In this experiment, you'll have to change the size of images to make the images look best.

On each trial, you'll be presented with a slider that can adjust the size. As you move the slider to the left, the image will get smaller. As you move the slider to the right, the image will get larger.

Your job: Using the slider, change the size of the image to be your preferred size for viewing the object.

This instruction is intentionally a little vague; but do your best to adjust the slider until the image looks best, and is at your preferred size for viewing.

Once you're happy with the slider's position, you'll be able to proceed to the next trial by pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard.

Click the ENTER key on your keyboard to proceed!

Just to make sure the slider's usage is clear, we'll go through a simple example here.

Recall that in the experiment, your task is to use the slider to change the size of the image until it is your preferred size for viewing.

Before we begin, let's make sure the slider works. Below is an image:

Now, use the slider below to adjust the size of the image below to be equal to the size of the image above.

Once the size of the slider-adjusted circle matches the size of the circle above, a button will appear. Pressing that button will begin the real experiment.
